Premio Arte Laguna —
Art Residency Winner
이탈리아 베니스에서 열린 Premio Arte Laguna에서 아트 레지던시 수상자로 선정되어 Berengo Foundation의 유리 공방에서 작품을 제작했다. 조각에서 이어져 온 ‘만남’과 ‘관계’의 언어를 유리의 투명성과 빛으로 확장한 시간이었다.
무라노의 장인들과 함께 뜨거운 유리를 불고, 자르고, 쌓아 올리는 과정은 서로 다른 재료와 사람이 만나 새로운 형태를 만드는 협업 그 자체였다.
Selected as the Art Residency winner at Premio Arte Laguna in Venice, Italy, Han Na-Young developed new works in glass at the Berengo Foundation workshop. It was a period in which the language of “encounter” and “relationship” that had continued through her sculpture expanded into the transparency and light of glass.
Working with Murano artisans to blow, cut, and assemble hot glass was itself a collaboration in which different materials and people met to create new forms.
